Who We Are

The historic Millarville General Store is nestled in the peaceful hamlet of Millarville, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Alberta Foothills.

First established in 1926, then rebuilt in 1989, the store continues to serve the friendly folks that live here, as well as the many travellers who pop in for a visit.

All are welcome!

Be Surprised

We have a great selection of everything you would expect to find in a small general store and many items you wouldn’t!

Located within the store is a postal outlet, where you can mail or pick up parcels, send moneygrams and purchase needed postal supplies such as mailing boxes or stamps.

We are also a liquor outlet, offering a wide variety of local craft beers and products, as well as a great wine selection.

Come On In

Come in for a coffee and a big Millarville welcome.

We look forward to meeting you!

Get Involved

Are you an artisan from the Alberta foothills? We would love to share your creations at the store.

Community is important to us and we want to support our local artisans. Give us a call or drop in: let's have a conversation!

Driving Highway 22, also known as the Cowboy Trail, is a great introduction to Alberta’s history and culture. Check out this article to learn more about this historic road. (Millarville General Store is one of the unique attractions featured in the article.)

Next time you are on a Highway 22 road trip, be sure to stop in for coffee!
