Foothills Excursion Eleven: Season of Light
I recently took my camera on an after-dark excursion to see what we would see. First stop, Millarville General Store, a haven of light and warmth on a cold winter evening.
Community members were gathering for the store’s first-ever old-fashioned Christmas market. Plenty of hot chocolate and “unique crafts, gifts and ephemera” were on hand for our last-minute shopping pleasure.
A little tour around Millarville revealed many delightful light displays, both in town and the surrounding rural properties.
Heading home, I note that the Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club is particularly glorious at this time of the year.
As the winter solstice settles into the darkest of nights, we wish you joy, peace and happiness during this beautiful season of light.
